Description
The Sirius Stratus 5 (SV5) is a dock-n-play Sirius Satellite Radio receiver. The SV5 offers simple controls and intuitive layout let you browse Sirius channels with ease. And no matter what station you're listening to, you can switch to your favorite channel or local traffic and weather with the handy One-Touch Jump™ button. The easy-to-read three-line display shows artist, title, and channel info.
The unit features a compact 3-line display. The Default screen displays the channel name, channel number, and signal strength meter on the top line, the artist name on the second line, and the song or program title on the third line. On the top line, you can toggle between channel name, category name, and time. You can manually adjust the display's contrast and brightness controls for best viewing.
Search Modes: This unit gives you several ways to search for and select music or other programming:
- Channel: Scroll through each channel in numerical order
- Category: Scroll through each of the categories (Pop, Rock, Country, Hip-Hop, R&B/Urban, Electronic/Dance, Jazz/Standards, Classical, Latin & World)
- Preset Tuning: The tuner allows you to store 10 presets. Preset channels can be tuned directly by pressing the preset number on the numeric keypad.
- Direct Tuning: You can also directly enter the 3-digit channel numbers using the number keys on the Stratus 5.
- Jump Button: The Jump button is used to quickly tune to a traffic/weather channel in your area.
- Channel Lock: The Stratus 5 has the ability to lockout the use of any channel you do not want accessed without your permission. The locked channel will not appear when browsing channels. When the user tries to directly access a locked channel, the "Enter Code" screen will be displayed, and the channel will not be accessed until the proper code is entered.
