Receiver Options
In this post we show the onyX EZ receiver but we also have the onyX Plus and Stratus 7 bundles available. They also come with the same antenna, case, remote, and installation accessories. If you are looking for the top of the line receiver then go with the onyX Plus which features a full color display.
Installation
The bundles all connect to an existing marine sound system via AUX or Mini Jack connection. For installation you will need to setup the antenna at a high point on the boat with 360 degree clear view of the sky. Since the antenna has a 30 foot cable you should have plenty of length to run the antenna on a mast on a standard boat. If you need to extend the antenna we do offer an antenna extension kit.
Marine Antenna Signal Strength
Our SiriusXM™ Marine Antenna is one of the best in the industry. It features a high gain LNA and 30 feet of cable that is securely attached to the inside of the antenna to prevent rust and corrosion. While there is no way to know the exact distance the antenna will work off shore we have had reports of boats getting signal up to 80 miles off the coast.
